In the early 90’s Dr. Lalani arrived in the United States to begin his medical career. He chose the United States because here is where the medicine was the most advanced, here is where the greatest quality of healthcare was provided and because this is the world’s greatest nation. It was a shock to discover how inequitable the healthcare system was in this wealthy nation. The advancements and the high level of care was undeniable, but the access to the common citizen was shameful.
So this muzzie comes over here 30 years ago (around age 25) because the medicine is most advanced? I’m sure it had nothing to do with your home country being a shit hole, right? He is careful to never state what country he is actually from, but judging by his name, it is very likely India or Pakistan.
Hilariously, those countries are known for EXTREME inequities! The Indian caste system is alive and well and FAR more inequitable than anything found in the United States. If he is so concerned about “inequity,” why not stay over there in India and be a “champion for the little man”??
Because India and Pakistan are shit holes. Just like Somalia, where another anti-American muzzie was born – Ilhan Omar.
Like Ilhan Omar, Bhojani and Lalani are determined to turn America into the same disgusting shit hole they moved from. Do they assimilate and champion the Constitution? No, they do not. Instead they demand the U.S. Congress change rules that are 181 years old so they can wear towels on their heads:
A couple muzzies here. A couple there. Pretty soon you have Little Mogadishu right there in downtown Houston. They multiply like rats. Don’t believe me? Take a look at Minneapolis. The Somalis have taken over parts of it.
Not long after Clayton Tucker “founded” a ranch, he joined the Texas Farmer’s Union AND the National Farmer’s Union! After all, if he was a failure at ranching, someone else must be to blame.
He chooses to blame “Big Ag!”
It’s not his lack of experience, lack of effort, laziness or the fact he spends his time gallivanting in D.C. while his goat kids die back home. No no no. It’s because “Big Ag” is ripping him off and being greedy by taking all the profits!
Comrade Clayton LOVES this stat, and repeats it constantly like a retarded Mynah bird. It makes HIM into the victim and absolves him of all his personal failures and inability to fend for himself in life. It excuses the fact he is still living in mom’s womb at age 33.
[You’d NEVER see a real rancher like Mark Langford pull this pussy move]
Unfortunately for Trust Fund Tucker, that stat is extremely misleading – like all his ‘facts.’
Both of those are FAR above the 10-year average. So the farmer is making more money than ever, in terms of gross nominal dollars. I’ll pause for a moment while Comrade Clayton goes and looks up what “nominal dollars” are….
….ok, you ready?
The trick to Trust Fund Tucker’s misleading stat is that he quotes the farm/ranch income in terms of a RATIO and compares it to “total food dollars spent.” He also has the stat wrong and uses “in the grocery store” as the denominator in this ratio. The REAL stat is “every dollar spent on food.” And guess what? Those dollars include restaurants and other highly-processed end uses.
So if farmers are making WAY more than ever, how can that ratio be going DOWN? Well, one way is if the denominator goes way UP even more.
I’ll give a REAL simple example so even a dipshit like Comrade Clayton can understand it with his $80,000 International Relations degree:
Let’s say it is 1980 and 3rd generation Tucker sells his beef for $2 a pound. I have no idea if these are accurate prices for that era, but it doesn’t matter – it’s the RATIO that counts.
It gets processed, packaged, transported, etc – which all costs money! Hey, according to Comrade Clayton EVERYONE deserves a dignified wage AND full health care. I assume that means the guys at the meatpacking plant and delivery trucks, right Comrade?
Anyways, lets’ say that $2 of Tucker beef shows up at the butcher and is sold for $4. We then can see that Tucker got $2 of the FINAL $4 price – or 50%. Wow! Good job, buddy. Tucker’s $2 is the numerator and the FINAL price is the denominator of $4. Otherwise stated as 2/4 or 1/2 or .50 or 50%…correct?
Now fast forward to the 2020s. People eat out a LOT more than they did in the 1980s. I know this because I lived through it while Comrade Clayton was still just a rotten egg in mommy’s ovary. It was a HUGE treat to go to McDonald’s. We maybe went once a month. I’d say 90% of our dinners were home-cooked by mom. She’d go buy a pork loin at Publix or chicken or whatever and do all the work preparing it HERSELF.
Furthermore, there weren’t Applebee’s and Chili’s and Olive Gardens on every corner back then. We had maybe 2 or 3 “nice” restaurants in our town in 1980 and we’d go on Christmas Eve or Easter or other special occasions.
NOW, these spoiled Gen Z pussies order Door Dash takeouts 4x a week and rarely cook at home. Which means a LOT more work goes into that final product they consume. But guess what, those inflated numbers are still counted as “money spent on food” in the denominator.
So if Comrade Clayton sells $6 worth of beef in the year 2022 and it ends up at Flemming’s as a $50 steak, now he can cry that he only got 12% of the “food dollars spent” ($6/$50) even though he is actually making 200% MORE in nominal dollars!
See how that works??
Nice try, comrade. You keep spewing the bullshit and I’ll keep debunking it like I always have.
Here is a GREAT explanation of what I’m talking about:
The USDA breaks the food dollar down in a way that makes this easy to see. In 2021, of each dollar the consumer spent, on average 33.6 cents went to food services (restaurant workers and other nonfood costs), 15.2 cents to food processors, 12.7 cents to retailers, and 10.7 cents to wholesalers.3
Thus, farmers, at 14.5 cents, get more than grocery store operators or wholesalers and just slightly less than food processors. The biggest share goes to food services, because when we buy food in a restaurant, we typically pay three times more for our meal than the food on the plate costs the restaurant. Further, the restaurant’s food cost includes some nonfarm costs such as food processing, transportation, and wholesaling.
When the National Farmers Union and other agricultural groups routinely rail about big business taking advantage of farmers, they often cite the farmers’ share of the food dollar as evidence for their claims. The reality is that big business is not responsible for the downward trend in the farmers’ share of the food dollar. Rather, American consumers are to blame because they prioritize convenience over price at the grocery store.
In fact, farmers are being paid more than ever for their production.Inflation has certainly raised production expenses along with commodity prices, so over the longer term, net farm income (roughly, the farmers’ profits) has been holding steady or increasing slightly, but it is not falling.
Various other scrawny, anti-Second Amendment nerds and losers will be there as well. Like David Hogg, Gene Wu and Clayton Tucker.
This is the biggest day of the year for loser communists like Clayton Tucker. It’s like Earth Day, Ramadan, Kwanza, Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Mubarak all rolled into one for him.
It’s where he gets to strut around and let everyone know he is the FOUNDER of the Texas progressive caucus! He’s also a very important person in the State Democratic Executive Committee representing District 24 – a position that he “won” when nobody else wanted it.
I have a bit of advice for Comrade Clayton: if you actually have any aspirations beyond the low-level Democrat lickspittle you currently are, you better get with the program and either come out as a homo or start wearing a dress and high heels. It’s the only way to get noticed in today’s Communist party.
As it stands now, you are just a basic, green-tea bitch boy. A rapidly-approaching-middle-aged unemployed white ‘man’ who sponges off his parents. Those are a dime a dozen, and as a white male, you are basically evil incarnate according to your own party.
Better get hopping, comrade! Only six weeks left to decide which shade of lipstick goes with that scraggly pubestache!
It was only a matter of time before Comrade Trust Fund Clayton Tucker (SDEC-24 TX) jumped into the fray. After all, he drives down to UT all the time to try and rile up the other communists. He thinks of UT as “his place” even though he never went there…
What “basic right” is that? The ‘right’ of masked goons and morons with nose rings to block public streets? To disrupt campus operations?
The Dean of UT (NOT Abbott, NOT GOP) had canceled the event beforehand, due to the organizing group breaking university rules. They were warned and still wouldn’t leave:
All of these losers blocking roads and creating chaos are just the same clowns from BLM back in 2020 and from Occupy Wall Street before that. They are communists creating chaos. Not surprising a communist like Clayton Tucker sides with them.
Rich trust fund kids have been the vanguard of virtually every communist revolution in history. From Che to Mao to Pol Pot to….pretty much all of them. It has always been a rich kid movement based on the anger of the malcontents.
(Marx was the original OG spoiled rich kid douchebag: son of a lawyer, wasted 700 thaler at school one year getting drunk. Married a petty noble – tried to pawn her silverware. Wanted mom to die for inheritance (about $100k in 2024 dollars – sound familiar?) Borrowed 5000 florins from his uncle and lived off Engels’ factory wealth.)
University campuses aren’t your country anymore. They’re the brain tumor that’s killing your country. Let them burn. Bring marshmallows. My enemy has not become my friend just because he finds himself in trouble.
Watching street communists savage the cities and institutions that nurture them is going to be one of the few enjoyable parts of our cultural revolution. Don’t let anyone steal that joy from you. I hope this expands to every blue city and campus in America.
I always wondered how local socialist termite (and chairman of the Lampasas Democrats Communists) Clayton Tucker managed to “write a book” when he can barely string two sentences together. It is actually listed on Amazon books, but I refuse to shell out $3 to read incoherent garbage. Even though it IS tempting to get it and laugh at the dozens of errors, ridiculous cliches and most likely an awkward attempt at trying to write a heterosexual sex scene in there somewhere.
I read the free summary (maybe 10 pages) and was treated to such high-tech ideas as a “policebot,” an “infobot” and also a “bossbot” – which is….wait for it…a robot that is your boss!
But what I DID learn was that this ‘book’ was ‘published’ by Atmosphere Press in February of 2019. So I dug a bit into Atmosphere Press and guess what?
This is what happens when you leave a 27-year-old unemployed moron a bunch of money. Trust Fund Tucker couldn’t spend it on magic beans fast enough. He thought he’d be a famous author!
Since Comrade Clayton is “the oldest child of an oldest child” (his words), I bet he got a nice piece of pocket change – which explains his aversion to work for the first 33 years of his life.
We also find some oddness in the dedication of the book:
Corbin Minshew died in 2014 at the age of 23 and was from Austin Texas. He was born about the same time Comrade Clayton was born and thus very close in age. Perhaps an old boyfriend? Anyways, Corbin shook off his mortal coil in Portland Oregon, where all the hippies end up at some point.
Mystery solved: Trust Fund Tucker shelled out a big pile of money so he could call himself an author. He and Stacey Hogg should maybe write a book together!
Back during the height of the Covid Cult lunacy, I had more than a few shouting matches with a fat guy named Heath Bishop – who went by the nom de plume of Hubert Humperdink…
Funny enough, Covid never killed old Hubert. But I’ll bet you a shiny new dime that he took multiple “vaccinations” and “boosters” that the government tricked him into…or maybe traded him a doughnut for.
[Disclaimer: I am not a financial advisor. This is not financial advice]
I should say butchered FURTHER. Anyone dumb enough to own that stock up at $400 has already been poleaxed for a 66% loss. Tesla is down about 43% since the start of the year. And it looks like a very ugly road ahead as the greentards finally start to realize that this whole “electric cars are awesome” fad was a very, very bad idea.
The stimmy checks are gone, there are a LOT of companies with better products, and consumers are finally realizing there are a LOT of cons to owning an electric vehicle.
I remember back in October of 2018, the TeslaClowns were predicting that earnings in December 2022 would be $23.79 per share. I took a screenshot of that 6 years ago and saved it because I knew that would be colossally wrong when 2022 arrived…
Even by the next year (October 2019) the estimates for December 2022 earnings had been almost cut in half to $12.95/share.
Want to know what the ACTUAL earnings were for 2023? $3.12
TeslaClowns dream of battery-powered 18-wheelers (a joke that will never happen) or retarded Optimus robots (humans dressed in tights) to save them now that it’s obvious Tesla is never going to master full REAL self-driving.
Even after Musk has been caught bullshitting and lying about a dozen times (hyperloop, man on Mars, Boring Company tunnels under every City, full self-driving by 2018, 100,000 robotaxis by 2020) the TeslaClown dummies STILL believe all his bullshit!
There are two ways I can immediately tell someone is a moron on sight: they are wearing a mask or driving a Tesla.
In my humble opinion, this is a $15 stock at best. Eventually it will get there, and it will happen even faster when some of Elon’s financial shenanigans are exposed in the end.
** UPDATE ** – AFTER EARNINGS
Literally every number from top line to bottom line is NEGATIVE for Tesla [EPS missed -9.1% and revenue missed -4.3%] – yet stock pops 11%…heading back to a P/E of 80. LOL.
Stock is up because Elon dangled a shiny object in front of people who cannot read financial statements or remember news from two days ago. Another vaporware promise (robotaxis coming August 8th!!) from Elon to stop the bleeding. Fanbois are eating it up.
They have been snorting FSD fairy dust for so many years, they cannot help themselves. Like Charlie Brown and the football. This will likely reverse when the 10Q is released next week.
So – $0.34 GAAP EPS fully diluted. Assuming things get no worse (HAHAHA) for the rest of 2024, that would be $1.36 GAAP EPS for the year. That works out to P/E of around 115 – or about 18 times higher than industry average…and revenue is falling.
Remember: back in 2018 the projected earnings for this “growth company” for 2024 were well over $30 a share – about 22x higher than they ended up being in reality.
I will take this opportunity to sell more short-dated, 25% OTM calls. Thanks for the free dough, suckers. Not financial advice!
BREAKING NEWS: Tesla will be laying off 2,688 employees at its Gigafactory in Austin Texas (12% of workforce there).
As predicted, it sailed through. Now we wait to see if the second part of the prophecy comes true: many change orders before this is all over and ANOTHER $100k or so added on to the cost.
Ironically, it was Cathy “Even if it Costs More” Kuehne who read the motion to be voted on. It was met with a rather unenthusiastic 7-0 unanimous “aye” from City council.
This will likely be former YMCA director Finley deGraffenreid’s final big chance to blow obscene amounts of money before he rides off into the sunset to collect his fat pension. So I expect he’ll make it a real spectacle to behold!
The contract time will be 180 days from the notice to proceed. So we are likely looking at around Thanksgiving as a completion date. I’ll take the over on that, as well.
Since we are now approaching the four-year anniversary of when these idiots ruined the country with their hysteria, I’ll be posting plenty of reminders – because I promised to NEVER forget of forgive what they did.
The City is discussing NOT opening the public swimming pools for the summer. That is an outrage. This “social distancing” bullshit is like a religion all of a sudden, despite the fact that it is snake oil and not science (kinda like the plastic straw bans). You CANNOT social distance in a pool. Kids need to be kids. They need to roughhouse, pick boogers, dunk each other underwater, wrassle, and BE KIDS. Mike White was AGAIN the voice of reason on this issue, while the Speed Bump (Randy Clark) was for keeping them closed.
Mike White said “it is not our job to enforce social distancing…everyone on the planet knows about Wuhan Flu now and they can make their own decisions. We have already taken so much away from these kids with the lock downs“.
I am totally paraphrasing Mike there, but when he said it I was cheering in my car and yelling “f*ck yes, Mike!!!”. [I again reiterate that Mike White resigning from council is a huge blow. He is oftentimes the ONLY voice of reason and logic].
This “shut down the pools” is just another step in the pussification of America. If you are too much of a scared rabbit to go to the pool, then don’t go. Kids ESPECIALLY are at very low risk of dying from the Wuhan Flu. Let the parents make the decision to go or not to go.
The Wuhan Flu is going to be with us a LONG time – probably forever. And yes, some people are going to die from it. Get used to that. It is very unlikely there will be a vaccine any time soon. Quite frankly, I’d rather get out there and spread it around and get it over with. If you are morbidly obese or over 65 you may want to be a lot more careful, but for the rest of humanity, let’s get on with it already.
I’ll be VERY keen to see what happens with schools in the fall. I’ll tell you this: if you don’t re-open the schools you are going to have a LOT of VERY pissed-off parents. We all pay a LOT of taxes to run these schools and having the kids “learning by Internet” is not going to cut it. Parents are not going to shell out THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS in property taxes and then have their kids underfoot all day long screwing around on the Internet. No way. There will be pitchforks and torches.
So, since you know you are going to open the schools in the fall or face riots, you may as well start now and open the pools and let these kids mingle and spread all their germs around. You DO realize that’s how immune systems work, right?? They need germs to practice on, to quote George Carlin.
Some interesting stuff on the docket tonight:Hostess House debacle, possibly raising fees at the golf course (some as much as 33%!), Wings of Eagles using some dilapidated old buildings like the the New Hope Baptist Church and also wasting more money on the Old City Hall remodel!
I haven’t live blogged it in forever for two reasons. I’ve been busy and the agendas have been pretty boring. Depends on if I get some mowing done today or if it’s still too wet out there.
Stay tuned…
Live…..
5:35pm – Nextlink discussion: don’t care
5:45pm – Agreement with Lampasas Rodeo Association: also don’t care. Although if I’m not mistaken, Greasy Chris Harrison (of S2M2 and skate park fame) was in front of council recently begging for money ($50k? I forget) for upgrading the announcer’s booth or something. The promise was that now they can attract “bigger and better rodeos.” Uh huh. And Martin’s Rod is building a distillery!
I’m not sure it matters much what’s in the rodeo agreement anyways because the City has made it clear (Brodie Estates and Industrial Park) that they don’t hold anyone accountable for their side of the deal. Any asshole can just sign any deal and ignore it. Why not? Finley, Ward and city council are too afraid to speak up and enforce the agreements.
6:10pm – This sucks. They are taking way too long on this rodeo shit.
6:17pm – Ok. Screw this. I remember now why I don’t do this. Will listen at the gym tomorrow then summarize.
