They are just one of thousands of families around here who have acreage and a few animals. That does NOT make you a “rancher.” I have acreage myself and have owned pigs, goats, etc for over 13 years. I would NEVER call myself a rancher. A rancher busts his ass and feeds people and deals with a REAL business.
