Woolhouse, a leading epidemiologist and member of the government’s Sage committee, told The Times that it may have been a mistake to close schools in March given the limited role children play in spreading the virus.
“One thing we have learnt is that children are certainly, in the 5 to 15 brackets from school to early years, minimally involved in the epidemiology of this virus,” Professor Woolhouse, an infectious disease epidemiologist at Edinburgh University, said.
“They are probably less susceptible and vanishingly unlikely to end up in hospital or to die from it.”
“There is increasing evidence that they rarely transmit. For example, it is extremely difficult to find any instance anywhere in the world as a single example of a child transmitting to a teacher in school. There may have been one in Australia but it is incredibly rare.”

** Washington state last week revised its Covid death numbers downward when it was revealed that anyone who passed away for any reason whatsoever who also had coronavirus was listed as a “Covid-19 death” even if the cause of death had nothing to do with Covid-19.
** In South Carolina, the state health agency admitted that the “spike” in Covid deaths was only the result of delayed reporting of suspected Covid deaths.
90 people in the state of Connecticut were found to actually have been negative for coronavirus after receiving positive tests, MSN reported on Tuesday.
The state’s Department of Public Health said that its state laboratory found a “flaw” in one of its testing systems and that 90 of 144 people who were tested for the virus between June 15 and June 17 received false positive tests. 161 specimens were collected and a total of 91 of those showed false positives.
** Last week in Florida YET ANOTHER scandal emerged when hundreds of Covid test centers reported 100 percent positive results. Obviously this would paint a far grimmer picture of the resurgence of the virus. Orlando Health, for example, reported a positivity rate of 98 percent – a shocking level – but a further investigation revealed a true positivity rate of only 9.4 percent. Those “anomalies” were repeated throughout the state.
** An analysis of reported daily Covid deaths last week compared to actual day-of-death in Houston revealed that the recent “spike” consisted largely of deaths that occurred in April through June. Why delay reporting until now?
We do know that based on this “spike” the Democrat mayor of Houston cancelled the convention of the Texas Republican Party. Mission accomplished?
Doesn’t it seem suspicious that so many states have experienced “delayed” reporting of deaths until Fauci and his gang of “experts” announced that we are in a new nightmare scenario?
** A television station this weekend looked into two highly unusual Covid deaths among victims in their 20s, and when they asked about co-morbidities they were told one victim had none, because his Covid death came in the form of a fatal motorcycle accident.
Feeling stupid yet? I sure would be.
We are facing the greatest assault on our civil liberties in our lifetimes. The virus is real, but the government reaction is political and totalitarian. As it falls apart, will more Americans start fighting for their liberty?
Not content to just blow MANY MILLIONS of dollars of Lampasas city money on a 165-acre weed patch ‘business park’ over the last 17 years, the Lampasas Economic Dunces Club is now formally submitting a grant application (asking for free stuff from federal taxpayers) to the federal government. Which means that nurses from Georgia, bus drivers from Oklahoma and teachers from Michigan will now be funding the LEDC’s ‘business park’ boondoggle indirectly through their federal tax payments.
The bullshit they sold taxpayers 7 years and millions of dollars ago – a pipe dream ^^^REALITY – a shitty weed patch where corpses are dumped on south Hwy-183
Langford Community Management Services will be charging the LEDC $7,500 to write up the grant. This money is to help pay for the nearly TWO MILLION DOLLAR “Phase I” (actually it’s Phase II but who’s counting) ‘improvement’ to the goat pasture they own.

I’m sorry, but no, your finances aren’t a train wreck because of Covid. They have been a train wreck for decades because of wasteful and idiotic spending by liberals. One of the big “mop up” stories on Covid will be answering a couple simple questions:
Why were such outlandishly inclusive definitions of “covid death” used by so many governments around the world? No other disease or pathology is counted this way.
Why were deaths systematically overstated, IFR and CFR inflated, hospitalization stats made to look far worse than they were, etc? EVERY thumb on the scale here seems to have been to accentuate panic NOT accuracy and methods used in literally no other condition EVER are the norm.
How did this come to be? Who made these choices and why?
You’d never count the death of an elderly person in June who had had flu in December and recovered as a “flu death” – yet we do here.
You’d never call a car crash with a cold death from common cold. Yet we do here.
Why?
Somewhere, at the bottom of all this, some people made some choices on how to count covid. Those choices were WAY outside of epidemiological norms – and they have had MASSIVE effect on how this has been reported and responded to.
Who made them and why? We need to demand an accounting.
I’m not a biologist, I am not a virologist and I don’t intend to dwell on the existing data, as most of what’s out there is buggy at best and often doctored for political reasons. Besides, I don’t think hard-data is important to the rest of this post. You see, I am a common-sense guy. In a world where governments have lost their collective minds, I feel I have something of an edge here.
If you read nothing else, read the following: had they stopped this thing in Wuhan, we would be right to use a containment approach to COVID-19. Instead, it’s everywhere and despite your personal opinions on the issue, it isn’t going away until most of us get it. There, I said it; you can hide in your basement, but you’re still probably going to get COVID-19. You can quarantine a whole nation…they’ll just get it next year. We are a global economy and this is now a global disease.
The sooner you accept that, the better for all of us.
Whether you like it or not, the world is going for “herd immunity.” Unfortunately, there is no other viable option. There will be no vaccine, there will be no miracle cure and besides, the virus isn’t even all that dangerous if you are young and healthy. Simply put, COVID-19 won’t flame out until 50 to 80 percent of us get it (the precise number is open to debate).
For the past century, most people have accepted that from time to time they’ll get a cold or flu. It was considered a fact of life and an inconvenience. Somehow, in this age of hysteria news and social media, a disease that’s a bit worse than the annual flu has taken on a persona that’s terrifying. I understand why that’s happened. The media and various “influencers” sell fear and astute politicians harness this fear for votes. Meanwhile, anyone with a dissenting voice is marginalized.
I think it is time for everyone globally to finally admit that COVID-19 is here, that we are powerless to stop its spread and that most of us are going to get it. Just ask Misti Talbert.

The number across the top is the week of the year. As you can see, the ‘over-85’ crowd had it the worst, with the highest risk of dying back between weeks 15 and 21 (basically, the month of April and first two weeks of May). The under 45 crowd never really had a huge worry…and STILL DON’T.

The Minnesota Covid model projected that every single hospital bed in the entire state would be filled with Covid patients in the midst of a dire situation this week.

When I demand this of you against your will, how will you say no? Will you accept that it’s your “social duty” to flatten the medicare cost curve? Are you OK never eating another french fry or dessert or Krab Kingz dish? Are you OK with jail time for missing your Cross Fit class?
Or might you suddenly want your rights and the liberty of self-determination? And if you are not willing to submit to my grand scale social plan, then by what right do you presume to force others to submit to yours?
Perhaps give that some thought before cheerleading for the next mandate you happen to agree with. No power granted to government is ever only used once or by only one faction. Pushing others onto a slippery slope will put you on it with them.
