The Poli Sci major who sucks at math now demands that entire industries be STOPPED because they use “too much” energy. How much is ‘too much’? Only the socialist semen sipper knows for sure, I’m guessing. The failson who still lives with his parents will decide the “acceptable amount” of energy all on his own and then command entire industries to comply!!
After several searches, I found that the entire global data center power usage (that’s ALL of them, not just AI) uses roughly 450 TWh (Terawatt-hours) of power per year.
Sure sounds like a big scary number. Big and scary if you are a coddled, babied, retarded pea-brained socialist who lives with his parents at age 35. The rest of us know better.
Let’s take a look at OTHER industries that use FAR more power than “AI data centers” shall we?
Aluminum immediately came to mind. Everyone (except Clayton) knows that aluminum smelting is extremely energy intensive:
Wow! Aluminum uses about FOUR TIMES more energy than data centers and it’s only #4 on the list! Amazing what facts you can find when you aren’t a dishonest commie asshole like Clayton Tucker.
Remember: that “data center” number is ALL data centers – including the Facebook and Twitter data centers where Clayton Tucker uploads terabyte after terabyte of gay videos of him shitting on data centers! LOL. Too funny.
My next thought was the cement industry – I know they use a lot of energy too. I was right:
Cement uses SIX times more energy than data centers! Fancy that.
How about the grandaddy of them all: the chemical and petrochemical industries:
Holy shit! It uses over TWENTY-FOUR TIMES the energy of data centers!
I’m guessing mining is up there too, but I’ve already made my point. It’s the same point I’ve made for years now: Clayton Tucker is a know-nothing moron who thinks he should be king. Must be part of his Napoleon Complex or something.
So if Trust Fund Tucker (who has never had a real job in his life and is currently unemployed) wants to shut down the data center guys over a measly 450 TWh, he must REALLY hate the aluminum, cement and chemical industries – because they use orders of magnitude more power.
Think of the tens of millions of people who will lose their jobs when Comrade Clayton shuts down THOSE industries for using “too much” power.
