So, over Clayton’s entire short lifespan, the number of farms has…..gone up by 4,000.

Of course, if you take the REALLY long view, the number of farms in the United States has dropped like 98% or something. Over 83% of the country used to be farmers – because they had to be. Now it’s more like 1.5%.
This is a good thing. It frees huge swaths of the population from the backbreaking work of farming. Clayton Tucker would know it’s backbreaking work if he had ever actually performed it.
But alas – he is just a PRETEND farmer. That means never going outside or getting your hands dirty. Pretend farmers just go on the Internet and make up bullshit while carrying around a shepherd’s crook from Amazon.
