Comrade Clayton’s FB feed is 98% populated by easily-excited shitlib clowns and old ladies who are unversed in mathematics, physics, or common sense:

Brad is wise to put things in scale and compare it OTHER, more familiar things. Kind of like my stat that Austin Texas loses over NINE BILLION gallons of water per year just to leaky pipes! Which makes Clayton’s hysteria over data centers using a few million gallons here and there sound like the pittance it is.
Let’s take a step back and look at this “data center scourge” from about 30,000 feet after the midget socialist has spent three months straight making up nonsense:
POWER: They are almost all building their own power sources now – because they have to. Texas power prices are some of the cheapest in the nation. They have not moved up even after 500 data centers were built over the last 20 years or so. There is NO correlation to a the number of data centers in a state and their electricity prices. That is a FACT – you can look it up.
LAND: Every single data center in existence in our country takes up 0.0086% of the land. Probably less than all the NFL and MLB stadiums and parking lots put together. It’s nothing. PLUS state law FORBIDS idiots like Clayton from just “banning” random shit he’s prejudiced against.
You think I was happy when a 100-lot subdivision went in a mile down the road from me and got filled up with Austin shitlibs?? I assure you, I was not. But those are the breaks. Nothing I can do about it except blow up Tannerite non-stop to annoy them. Suck it up, buttercup.
WATER: Even Comrade Clayton’s bullshit “facts” he references admit that every data center in Texas right now uses LESS than 1/2 of 1% of the total water use for the state.
MISC: Comrade Clayton has thrown out a lot of spurious (and frankly, slanderous) bullshit about stillbirths in cows, chicken egg productions and heart murmurs in kids. The minute he names a name of a data center supposedly doing this is the same minute he will be sued into oblivion for libel or slander. Which is why he never names names. He’s a lying sack of shit.
All of the above ALSO assumes there will be no technological breakthroughs in the next 5 or 7 years when it comes to water use, power consumption, etc. Which is highly unlikely. I read about new breakthroughs every week.
