First of all, she arbitrarily uses 2021 as her start point. Comrade Clayton has also pulled this trick before. That’s exactly when Joe Biden’s money printing and greentard policies went into action. Inflation raged at over 9%, as you’ll recall. The price of EVERYTHING went up about 25% to 30% over the next few years.
Secondly, she is confusing BILLS with RATES. Texas has some of the lowest electricity rates in the country at roughly 10 cents per kilowatt/hour.
The highest rates are almost all in states run by shitlibs, like Massachusetts where Carol Garner Doughty scurried off to so she could live amongst her own kind…
Now, power BILLS might be high in Texas, but that is because some people choose to run their AC non-stop and set at 68 degrees in the summer. No surprises there. But the RATES are extremely reasonable here in Texas. I built my house in 2012 and my rates have not budged in the last 14 years – all praise PEC!!
I suggest Gina show us the HEATING BILLS for every state. You’ll see the exact opposite as northerners spend a small fortune on heating oil and gas while Texas spends practically nothing.
Just like that idiot Clayton Tucker confuses REVENUE with PROFIT, so does Gina Hinojosa deliberately confuse BILLS with RATES to her low-IQ followers.
Clayton Tucker can cry and whine about power bills all he wants, but the indisputable truth is that Texas rates are some of the cheapest in the country. If your power BILL is super high, then maybe cut your usage a bit. Data centers have nothing to do with it.
Reminder: Clayton Tucker lives with his parents in their upstairs bedroom and has very likely NEVER paid a single power bill in his entire parasitic life. So he has no firsthand experience with all of this anyways and his opinion therefore means jack shit.
P.S. – just to cap it all off, the shitlibs keep failing to mention that Texas is currently building TONS of new power plants – which means SUPPLY is growing to meet DEMAND and thus keeping prices stable.
