This crazy old bird just never stops! Not content to blow over $15,000 so far on her pet project “community garden” (which produced roughly $200 worth of veggies last year), she is NOW asking the City of Lampasas to install a rain catchment system on their new $175,885 pavilion they are going to build in Campbell Park.

Just to remind you, this idiot ALREADY had the City dig trenches and install pipes for irrigation with City water and gets a bunch of FREE WATER from the City every month! The taxpayer paid for all that as well.

Of course, 10,000 gallons of water and two tanks will weigh over 40 tons. So I’m pretty sure they have to plan for that as well – which adds even more cost. Finley put something in about “a 20 x 60 slab extension for future storage” but it is unclear what that means. Storage of what?
This moron must sit up late at night just dreaming up ways to set money on fire. Not HER money, of course. The money from taxpayers and the fools dumb enough to give her grant money.
But that ain’t all! There is more!
Unbeknownst to this genius, water does not just flow from the tanks into the hoses at 60 PSI. That requires pumps. Pumps cost money. A lot of money. So does a proper installation.
Who’s going to spring for all that shit?
Furthermore, those pumps and pipes you are putting all over the place also have to be protected against the freezing cold, as many people found out last February. Do you think Crazier Crozier will be out there draining the pipes and winterizing that shit in November when the first freeze rolls in?
She will not.
Funny how the City doesn’t have a few bucks lying around in the summer to pay lifeguards enough to keep the pool open six days a week. A pool which benefits the entire City.
But they have money and resources to give to this idiot and her pet project so she can play in the dirt with a few of her libtard friends and grow 6 or 8 tomatoes – which they could have just as easily grown in their back yard.
Time for the new guys on City council to put an end to this nonsense. Say “NO” to the moronic unneeded and costly rain catch system for this loon!

The crazy cane lady is back! She has something to say about masks, ya’ll! Apparently some old guy was ridiculed in the Walmart parking lot for wearing a mask recently. Predictably, the hordes came out to publicly signal their virtue about how this was a terrible thing to do. Ironically, many of the SAME ASSHOLES were doing the EXACT SAME THING just last year to those of us who REFUSED to wear a mask.

You gotta hand it to “Dr” James Cain. He LITERALLY picked the top of the recent surge to do his “Covid Panic Porn” hysteria interview in the local paper [see September 23 article] – where he tried to scare anyone and everyone into getting the vaccine. That was the same article where he failed to utter the words “natural immunity” even once.
While he yammered about people waiting in their cars and hospitals overflowing, the surge was already over and a massive and rapid decline in cases, hospitalizations and deaths was occurring:

A third Pfizer scientist, Rahul Khandke, said that Pfizer pressures employees to conceal negative information from the public.
“We’re bred and taught to be like, ‘vaccine is safer than actually getting COVID.’ Honestly, we had to do so many seminars on this. You have no idea. Like, we have to sit there for hours and hours and listen to like — be like, ‘you cannot talk about this in public,” said Khandke, who also agreed on the antibodies.
“If you have [COVID] antibodies built up, you should be able to prove that you have those built up,” he said.
Croce, meanwhile, acknowledged that Pfizer is conducting tests to determine whether their vaccine causes myocarditis in younger individuals.
“So, yeah, we’re doing, we just sent, like, 3,000 patients’ samples to get tested for like, elevated troponin levels (to detect heart attack) to see if it’s vaccine based – or so…”
I’m sure “Dr” Cain will very soon be doing another newspaper piece where he admits he was wrong and that you’re probably fine WITHOUT the “vaccine” if you’re young and healthy and/or have ALREADY had Covid, right?

FBI And Justice Department Will Be Surveilling Parents Who Question Masks And Critical Race Theory
The fad of roasting your local school board over CRT and masks has been popular amongst those of us with common sense across the country. In response to this, Attorney General Merrick Garland this week announced that the FBI would be mobilized to investigate parents who actually speak up, who they now consider to be domestic terrorists.
The same FBI that let Brian Laundrie walk away from his home undetected, and allowed the Tsarnaev brothers to plot a terrorist attack at the Boston Marathon, will now be allocating its limited resources to convene meetings with all 14,000 school districts in the country. There they will discuss plans to stop the non-existent threats against School Committee members and teachers.
This is what your tax dollars go towards.
I hope Republicans are taking notes. This is what you do with power when you have it. You use the FBI, and every other law enforcement agency possible as a weapon agains your political opponents. I’m not a fan of this personally, but it’s how the game is played now. You can cry about it or you can destroy your enemies. The moral high ground isn’t going to get you anywhere.
To be clear, there is no “spike in harassment, intimidation and threats of violence.” This is just something they’re using in order to give themselves more power and use men with guns to come after law abiding parents. It’s the same thing they used to take away civil liberties after September 11, and the same rationale they used to put unarmed protesters in solitary confinement for the imaginary “insurrection” on January 6. Throughout history our government, and all tyrannical governments, use the pretext of fear in order to mobilize law enforcement to crush political dissidents. There is no Holocaust without the Reichstag fire in 1933. There was no Patriot Act without the World Trade Center being attacked.
Except people speaking at School Committee meetings isn’t comparable to fires or terrorist attacks. They found a couple isolated incidents in random states where tyrannical child abusers were made to feel uncomfortable and are pretending that there’s some sort of epidemic of violence. There isn’t. If they actually cared about stopping violence they’d be spying on Antifa and black lives matter, since they’ve caused significantly more carnage and destruction than any parent at a School Committee meeting could ever dream of.
This was a gift to School Committees and administrators who couldn’t believe that taxpaying citizens had the audacity to show up at meetings and express their opinions in public. These are people who are used to no one paying attention, and the fact that parents were suddenly mobilized was a threat to their monopoly on power.
If you voted for Joe Biden, just understand that YOU did this. You elected an authoritarian government that is now weaponizing the FBI against peaceful parents for the crime of being invested in their children’s education. If you’re OK with this then you are a horrible person and a piece of shit, and we will use the government to crush you once the pendulum swings and we regain power.

That’s what they tell you every time they jack your electric rates. What they DON’T mention is that every 1/5 of a penny per kilowatt-hour adds up to about $200,000 more in the City coffers. THAT ain’t small potatoes.
Considering Misti Talbert, TJ Monroe and the rest of the gang voted to WAIVE electrical hookup fees for rich developer Deorald Finney for his 67 houses at Stone Valley a couple years back (costing the City $72,000 in lost revenue), you’d think they have money to burn over there.

Not only that, Finley told us last year that they were rolling in dough:
“He said the city foresees surpluses in the general, water & wastewater, electric, and airport funds at the end of fiscal year 2020, amounting to a projected surplus of just over $1 million in the total operating fund.” – Dispatch article 7/17/20 (page 7).
Then AGAIN in February of this year – we were told the electric fund was in such great shape that they would absorb the “bump” associated with the winter storm.
We went through this back in 2017. Electric rates were increased by “only” 1/4 of a cent AND the monthly base rate was increased by $1 – adding $300,000 to City coffers – EVERY YEAR going forward. They needed this because health insurance rates were set to rise and would have cost a City employee about $800 per year – we can’t have that! Electric rates were hiked bigly. Apparently the Goldfish had already forgotten that City employees were given a 5% raise the year before. Dispatch article HERE.
That $300,000 is still recurring every year – and has therefore added $1.2 million to the City’s coffers since then. This latest hike will add $200,000 more every year.

This week she gained national attention and got a bunch of morons to donate $27K and counting to her GoFundMe after virtue signaling on Facebook about how her brainwashed son Mason refused to take his mask off for school pictures.
A 6-year-old boy who refused to take his mask off for his school picture is getting a large reward for following the rules. Mason Peoples had sat down in front of the camera to get his picture taken when the photographer told him he could take off his mask, Mason’s mother, Nicole, wrote on Facebook. Mason informed the photographer that “My mom said to keep it on all the time unless I’m eating and far away from everybody.” The photographer went on to say that it would be OK to take the mask off for the picture but Mason insisted that he keep it on.
“My mom seriously told me to make sure to keep it on,” Mason said. “I always listen to my mom!”
His mom created a GoFundMe account after saying that many people had reached out asking if they could send money for gifts, ice cream, or Mason’s college as a reward. Nicole Peoples initially sought out to raise $7 but the GoFundMe account ended up collecting more than $24,000.
This quote really summed it up:

Congratulations Mom – you’ve psychologically abused your child to the point where he’s afraid to come in contact with other children and smile for pictures. Better make a GoFundMe so other sheep can reward you for raising a blind follower who doesn’t think for himself and believes that a virus will jump into his mouth and kill your whole family if he smiles for his school pictures.
The comments on this story paint a picture to how pathetic and ridiculous this stupid virus has made our society.

I’ve never seen any comment in the history of the Internet more telling and honest than that one. She admits that the mask has nothing to do with science, but those who question it are inherently bad. Those who simply obey and do as the state tells them to do at all times are the good people.
If you ever wondered why little Nazi kids ratted on their parents or turned in their neighbors for harboring Jews, this is why – human beings equate obedience to virtue. They believe that a strong and powerful government is the most effective way to prevent instability, and that those who question or rebel against the government are a threat to the common good. It’s why fascism was so popular – because it presented itself as the bulwark against the more dangerous and unsafe alternative of freedom. You cannot get people to give up their rights if you don’t scare the shit out of them first.

These people have lost their minds. There’s no other way around it. She’s obese and at risk if she gets the virus, but instead of bragging about how she’s eating healthy and exercising she’s virtue signaling about how she covered her face with a cloth diaper.
Mason didn’t stand up for himself, and he certainly shouldn’t be proud. I’d be proud of him or any student who refused to wear their masks in school and led a student revolt that forced administration to change their policy because they can’t suspend everyone. That would be standing up yourself.
Lampasas City Manager Now Budgeted $353,830

Full time salary: $272,950
Finley got a secret raise to $140,000 in the middle of the pandemic last year. That is still nowhere close to $273k. I am assuming they are once again budgeting for an assistant City manager, but I find it hard to believe that the ACM will be paid anywhere near the manager salary. This implies a salary of around $130k for the ACM.
Maybe Finley got another silent raise that nobody bothered to tell us about. Maybe it’s time to request Finley’s paystubs.
Extra pay: $5,384
What’s extra pay? It’s just more on top of Finley’s big pile. Shaddup and pay your electric bill, bitch!

Five hundred a month for Finley to drive around town? Sure – why not.

I still don’t know how the City pays so much for health insurance. I pay $7,000 a year out here in the real world all by myself with no big organization to (presumably) negotiate better rates. Yet somehow, every employee in the City seems to cost about $12,500 to insure.
Throw in the rest (phone, travel allowance, etc) and the entire “City Manager” Department now costs the taxpayers $385,000 per year. Or nearly FIFTEEN HUNDRED DOLLARS every business day.
Remember, all public employees salaries are PUBLIC. The taxpayer has a right to know. Link HERE to a list of employees.
Also remember that according to Finley himself, you need to multiply an employee’s salary by 1.4 to get an accurate cost to the taxpayer. Benefits are usually about 40% of salary, according to him.
So when someone’s salary is “only” $60,000, the REAL number is more like $84,000 when you include those benefits and perks.
Pork Chops With a Heaping Side of Hypocrisy
Cathy Kuehne just keeps proving over and over what a dunce she is. Her recent rantings and ramblings on Covid are just a huge jumble of lies, stupidity and hypocrisy.
Let’s look at a few examples, shall we?
At the September 13 council meeting, she got into a pissing match with a member of the audience about a new Covid benefit for City employees. That was when she made up the huge pile of shit that she “put herself at risk” every day as a teacher – because of, like, Covid and stuff.
The very Covid she already had back in February, but OK Porkchop. If you say so.
THEN, she whined to the audience member that “If I were to get Covid directly from a student, the school district says ‘take your own time’ and I don’t think it’s right” [see 1:06:17]
WRONG again, Porkchop. Either she is too stupid to know her own school’s policy OR she is lying her face off here to look like a martyr. Doesn’t really matter – the bottom line is that as a teacher, she DOES get Covid time. It was on the front page of the Dispatch back in January:
‘In addition, trustees voted to give all school district employees an additional 10 days of paid leave for “COVID-19-related issues,” Millican said‘
That’s not “if you’re sick with Covid”, by the way. That’s “Covid-related issues”, which is so vague that only a true moron could not figure out a way to take advantage of that 2-week paid vacation if they wanted to.
So don’t cry about your school not taking care of you, ok Porkchop? You get better benefits than just about anybody in the private sector, you ingrate.
But there is more! It turns out that besides being a pretend martyr, and a liar or an uninformed school district employee (take your pick) she is ALSO a giant hypocrite!
She wails about how she “puts herself at risk every day” by bravely walking into the school. Yet she is MORE than happy to spend a ton of time unmasked around kids if it means she can make a buck!
That’s right. Porkchop and her husband are the ones who take all those pictures of your kids at sporting events – basketball, cheerleading, etc. In fact, she was doing just that mere days after whining about putting herself at risk in school!
So I guess it’s ok to “put yourself at risk” selling wildly overpriced photos to parents, right?
This just proves my point about how ridiculous it is to try and point to where you “caught Covid” when it comes to cops and firefighters (and teachers or anyone else). If Porkchop DID come down with Covid a second time a week from now, she would no doubt blame it on the school and demand paid time off (which she already gets).
She would conveniently ignore the fact that she was ALSO around a bunch of kids later that same day and could have just as easily caught it from THEM. There is simply no way to know.
One thing is for sure, if there are a few bucks to be made, Porkchop’s Covid hysteria and histrionics go right out the window.
