So now we are up to the final two years or so of the fake rancher game – when it all falls apart and a new grift is sought out. When we left off in Part II, it became clear that Clayton Tucker SDEC-24 TX and Chairman of the Lampasas Democratic Party would NEVER win an election in rural Texas. So what to do next? Getting a real, full-time job in the private sector is out of the question. He’s too lazy for that.
After his twin electoral ass beatings in 2020 and 2021, Clayton had to change course again. NOW it was clear he was going to try and rise up within the ranks of Democratic parasites. If he couldn’t get elected in the REAL world, he’d try to get elected to positions within the Democratic party ITSELF.
This began immediately after the City council beatdown, when he was “elected” (actually ran unopposed and appointed) to be Chairman of the Democratic Party of Lampasas – yet another unpaid position to pad the resume with.
This is also right about the time he either got fired from or quit his job with the Bernie Sanders communist organization “Our Revolution – Texas” – or else it just went bust. All the links to “Our Revolution Texas” are now inoperable…so it’s likely he got let go because they ceased to exist as a going concern….which is awesome!
In fact, it would not surprise me at all if he jumped into the Lampasas Dem position because he needed a new unpaid title after getting canned from Our Revolution Texas.
He spent the rest of 2021 (1) pretending to be a rancher and (2) chiding people to mask up and get the vaccine, even though it was the fall of 2021 and only idiots still believed the Covid-19 plague narrative.

In the spring of 2022, he decided two things: (1) he decided NOT to run for City council again – more proof he knew he would never be elected to anything besides internal Democrat Party crap and (2) he decided to run for ANOTHER unpaid position within the Democratic Party organization of Texas: SDEC-24
Moving on up! He now held Chairman of the Lampasas Democrats AND was the rep for SDEC-24 in Texas.
There was still a problem though: both of those positions are unpaid, and actually COST money to hold. Which is why only ladder-climbing morons want them. Then again, mom has let him live upstairs at her house for the last seven years…why won’t that just continue indefinitely?

Contrary to what some socialist fools spout, the wind does NOT always blow. In fact, it is barely blowing now…leaving 86% of installed wind power sitting idle as reliable natural gas covers 60% of our power needs and saves the day once again.

How detrimental is it to allow far-left ideologues into bureaucratic public works positions? The state of Hawaii just found out this week with a blaze that engulfed the Island of Maui and killed at least 110 people. A series of management blunders are being blamed for the deadly wildfire, but one incident in particular has frightening implications.
With wildfires ripping across West Maui on Aug. 8, a state water official delayed the release of water that landowners requested to help protect their property from damage and stop the spread. The water standoff played out over much of the day and the water didn’t come until too late. The dispute involved the Department of Land and Natural Resources’ water resource management division and West Maui Land Co., which manages agricultural and residential subdivisions in West Maui.
According to accounts of four people with knowledge of the situation, M. Kaleo Manuel, a Native Hawaiian cultural practitioner and DLNR’s deputy director for water resource management, initially refused West Maui Land Co.’s requests for additional water to help prevent fires from spreading to properties managed by the company. Manuel eventually released water but not until after the fire had run its course.
His office has not yet commented on the delay of water resources.
How much damage could have been prevented with the extra water is not yet known. However, the question of “Why?” needs to be addressed in the wake of one of the worst natural disasters in Hawaii’s history. Though bureaucratic red tape might be the most obvious suggestion, a recent interview with M. Kaleo Manual offers some interesting and disturbing insight. Manuel waxes philosophical on “water equity” (“equity” being a pervasive woke buzzword) and an ancient “reverence” of water as god-like. He uses these beliefs to support his rationale for keeping tight controls over Hawaiian water supplies; not as a resource to be used, but as a holistic privilege offered by the government.

A Hawaiian Studies major, Kaleo prefers a traditional, holistic "One Water" approach where water is revered, not used.
His sentiments represent a now familiar far-left cultism and propensity to place Earth worship and climate ideology over the the lives of average people. It is also a rather common trope of the far-left to depict indigenous peoples as environmental sages “one with the planet,” leaving it unaltered for thousands of years – This is not historically accurate but it certainly serves the purposes of the progressive narrative. Upon arrival on the islands, Polynesians introduced their own transported landscapes and alien species of animals. The population grew, cleared vegetation, and established an intricate agricultural system by the 1300s. Hawaii was indelibly altered by the Polynesians long before the Europeans ever arrived.
In case you forgot, that was the ransomware attack that brought the City technology infrastructure to a standstill for 10 days or so. I was one of the first to break the story. Here are some headlines as a reminder:
#1 – the City NEVER explained how it happened. I actually sat down with the City manager a few weeks afterwards and was told “we can’t talk about it as the FBI is investigating.” Four years later, the investigation is long over but Mayor Talbert and City Manager DeGraffenreid never publicly commented on how it happened. NOBODY was held responsible. Talk about job security!
#2 – Tens of thousands of dollars of equipment were rendered inoperable. Not only was nobody held responsible for the attack, Mayor Talbert THANKED the two IT employees (who are most responsible for the entire disaster) for “working hard” during the crisis.
#3 – IT Director Monica Wright (who holds no network certifications) who has polished that seat for 17 years now (salary and benefits over $116,000) and the “network administrator” Kristy Acevedo were not only NOT fired or publicly lambasted, they were THANKED by Misti Talbert. They both still have their jobs to this day and have had their salaries/benefits INCREASED 23% over the last 4 years (from $180,000 to $222,000) – and the IT Department budget has been increased 33% from $301,000 to $407,000.
Zero consequences for that massive blunder. This is what is known as “job security” in the government sector.
In the old days, if you worked for the government, the pay wasn’t that great but you got really good benefits AND you basically couldn’t be fired. NOW, however, you get all three: extremely high pay, very good benefits AND it is impossible for you to be fired…even if you leave the barn door open to a massive ransomware attack that cost the taxpayer tens of thousands of dollars in wrecked equipment.
