Now we hear rumbles that the secretaries of state in several swing states (AZ, PA, MI, GA, NV) are considering keeping Trump’s name off the ballot, because “insurrection.” This is their final ace in the hole.

Yes, the libshits – who yammer endlessly about “saving democracy” – are going to decide you aren’t allowed to even SEE your guy on the ballot, because they say so.

Trump has not been convicted of anything. Trump is not even charged with “insurrection or sedition.” But that does not stop the parrots from screeching about “14th Amendment! 14th Amendment” all day long.

The commies who have taken over HAVE to do this. They HAVE to go ALL-IN, because if they don’t and the other side gets power back, they are in for a world of pain when payback comes. 4) Mueller figured out there was no collusion a month into his investigation, but dragged it out another year and a half to keep GOP investigators from accessing FBI/DOJ officials, and to try to bait Trump into doing something they could call obstruction of justice.

5) The Democrats take back the House in 2018, shut down the investigations into spying.

6) Mueller immediately wraps up his task now that there are no GOP investigations to worry about, and hands the ball to Congressional Democrats for phase two: impeachment.

7) A CIA spy planted in the White House tries to leak the contents of a Presidential phone call to Adam Schiff, who then tells him to write it up as a “whistleblower” report for marketing reasons.

8) During the phone call, Trump asked Zelensky to put his people in touch with the Attorney General’s office to compare notes on what we now know is overwhelming evidence of the Bidens engaging in bribery, money laundering, and racketeering.

9) The Democrats impeach Trump for this, and limp-wristed, compromised Republicans (Kinzinger, Cheney, Romney) went along with the charade, just like they did with RussiaGate long after it had been proven to be hoax.

But she sure isn’t being shy about grabbing as much cash as she can for the next fiscal year (which begins October 1st). Especially when it comes to her own benefits, self-enrichment and creature comforts [see pages 17 and 18]:

These are where she traipses around town to already-established businesses (like Oil States) and takes photos with them to show us how hard she is working.

I’m pretty sure a kick-ass company like Oil States does not need a city government bureaucrat to tell them how to run their operations or “discuss their industry needs.” I’m guessing a kick-ass company like Oil States just wants the government to stay out of their hair and leave them alone, thanks very much.

THAT is Finley math! Then Ybarra can leverage those letters after her name into a NEW higher-paying job someday with an even more clueless City manager somewhere.

Last on the list is the literal “FREE MONEY” (‘grants’) that Ybarra gets to hand out like Santa Claus to worthy businesses. It is called “life safety” because it is supposed to offset the ridiculous expenses for “saftey equipment” the City of Lampasas Code Ordinances place on anyone trying to start something up.

As in, one department of the City says “hey, that’s an awful nice venue you have going there. Sorry to say, you need to install $40,000 worth of sprinklers or you can’t open your doors.”

Then Ybarra comes along from ANOTHER City department and says “hey, here is $20,000 in taxpayer dollars to help you out. Oh, don’t worry…we have plenty more! It grows on a tree at Finley’s house!” which I’m SURE the existing businesses (and competitors) really love.

They actually gave a $20,000 “grant” (free money) to James Mercer for his Heritage Funeral Home two years ago. That would be the same James Mercer who (1) just had a few businesses go tits-up recently because (2) the state shut down his adoption place because of some kind of shenanigans (I don’t know what shenanigans because he refused to talk to the Dispatch when they called him for comment) and who (3) hobnobs with Hollywood douchebags and drives fancy cars.

You know – a guy who really needs it and can be trusted not to fuck it all up. Don’t worry, though. That $20k of your taxes was greatly appreciated!

I know they also gave a few grand to The Doghouse (now defunct!) for fire extinguishers, a knox box and emergency signage and lights.

So, money well spent all around town. No doubt the NEXT $25,000 she wants will be spent just as wisely.

City Proposes Tax Rate Just Under Max To Avoid Election. Sees $326,000 Surplus. Finley Suggests $312,000 In Raises For Employees.

Talk about a kick in the nuts. First you propose a tax rate JUST UNDER the amount that would trigger an election and give people a chance to vote it down. They seem to do this every year, despite the fact that Finley insists property taxes are just a “small” part of City revenues.

OK then – how about cutting that rate in half and letting people keep that money instead of showing a surplus in your budget?

You can see below that Finley has OTHER ideas for that extra money: namely a 4% Cost Of Living Adjustment (which according to Ryan Ward is NOT a raise) for his gang….

I find this 4% number puzzling, because the Democrats are telling us that inflation is 3% and falling. PLUS, everyone in the City got VERY generous raises in the past when inflation was ZERO.

[For example, in August of 2015 during the very profligate Toups years, City employees were given a raise of FIVE PERCENT in a year the CPI was only 0.1% – essentially ZERO]

That COLA looks like it might cover just about everyone – because $312,000 is 4% of $7.8 million. I find it hard to believe they can justify handing ANOTHER $6,000 to Finley or $4,000 to Cummings or $5,000 to Ward when they are ALREADY paid far over the average for their positions.

P.S. – you will also notice $40,000 for a “water study” – which I think is self explanatory. If previous councils and mayors (**cough** TALBERT **cough**MONROE**) had levied a $2000-per-new-house impact fee over the last few years, they would have about $300,000 in a fund to cover things like this.

INSTEAD, those morons were GIVING money TO developers to build here! Hillside Acres, Hidden Oaks, Brodie Estates, Stone Valley: all of them GIVEN money from the City and ZERO impact fees assessed for things like future water use.

Now is the time nip this in the bud. To re-commit yourself to loudly supporting any business in town who refuses to force masks on people. To ostracizing and shaming and ridiculing any piece of shit who embraces this nonsense again.

As a helpful guide, here are some of the locals who loudly backed it the first time. They will back masks and lockdowns again not only because they are idiot liberals, but because NONE OF THEM HAVE A JOB. It is no sacrifice for them at all to sit home all day, because that’s what they do anyways.

Stephanie “Potato Head” Fitzharris. She has recently purchased her mother’s house on Spring Street (after living in Oregon, Santa Monica CA and Austin TX) and is trying to pass herself off as a conservative. She is not. Those of us who (correctly) called the vaccines “shit” were lambasted for spreading “disinformation”

Bruce “The Manatee” Haywood. One of the loudest (and fattest) voices for keeping kids out of school during Covid the first time around (2020/2021 school year). He kept his own kid out of school as well. Bruce spends his days sleeping til noon, not paying any property taxes, and ranting about how Trump should be in jail. So the lockdowns and masking he loves so much will not inconvenience him at all.

Clayton “Trust Fund” Tucker – Chairman of Lampasas Democrat Party: Rabid socialist, authoritarian and promoter of forced masking and “vaccines.” Was running against Dawn Buckingham (a REAL doctor) during Covid in 2020 and had the nerve to imply she was hurting people by NOT wearing a mask. He is known to wear a mask in a car BY HIMSELF. Also has no job and lives with mom, so lockdowns don’t harm him.

Melissa “Crazy Cane Lady” Johnson. This lunatic hermit has worn a mask her entire life…something she failed to mention until YEARS after Covid when she was calling everyone selfish for NOT wearing a mask. She is jobless, friendless and brainless. Lockdowns and forced masking do not change her life one bit.

Guess what? You got your wish. You were REALLY WRONG about all of it. Now shut the fuck up forever.

Julie Cain Landrum: Massive Covid rat who tattled publicly on several local businesses during Covid. Ran a hobby lemonade stand during Covid (Wool & Vine) which failed earlier this year (karma is a bitch!) – currently unemployed again and lockdowns/masking will not affect her at all. Lee Morey. Another fat guy who liked to tell us all how awesome he is and how terrible you are. He’s clearly terrible at assessing risk since he rides motorcycles but is afraid of a cold virus.

Grady “Man Gravy” Lucas. Was driven completely insane by Covid and Trump Derangement Syndrome simultaneously. Is STILL petrified of Covid TODAY, despite (1) it being almost the end of 2023 and (2) having had MANY “vaccines” and boosters and STILL getting Covid himself!
