From New York City’s plan to hand out $53 million to illegal invaders, here is their news release. It is completely unbelievable. Imaging reading this about 6 years ago. You’d think it was a joke. Today it is totally normal:

The Eric Adams’ administration has found it in the budget to allocate $53 million towards handing out pre-paid credit cards to migrant families living in Big Apple hotels, the NY Post reports.

It’ll start with a group of 500 migrant families in short-term hotel stays and will replace the current food service offered there, according to City Hall.

The cards can only be used at bodegas, grocery stores, supermarkets and convenience stores — and migrants must sign an affidavit swearing they will only spend the funds on food and baby supplies or they will be kicked out of the program.

The Immediate Response Card initiative appears akin to the state’s food stamp program, dubbed SNAP, which provides lower-income New Yorkers with a credit card to cover the cost of meals, and will provide funds based on the same scale.

If the program is a success, NYC will expand it to all migrant families staying (for free) in hotels – roughly 15,000, according to the report.

“Not only will this provide families with the ability to purchase fresh food for their culturally relevant diets and the baby supplies of their choosing, but the pilot program is expected to save New York City more than $600,000 per month, or more than $7.2 million annually,” said Adams spokesperson Kayla Mamelak, apparently employing some type of heretofore unknown math.

The program is similar to a bill proposed in California which would give unemployment benefits to illegal immigrants.

Culturally relevant diets?? Baby supplies?? Maybe there is something wrong with me but when I read those words, my head wants to explode in a rage. Yeah, we don’t want the illegal, invader freeloaders to suffer eating shit that isn’t “culturally relevant” now, do we??

Yesterday Was Major Deadline Missed For Industrial Pork “Agreement” – Marking Another Massive Failure of Taxpayer-Sponsored ‘Development’

WAAAAY back in October of 2021, the City and Martin’s Rod & Custom hatched one of the most hare-brained plans the City has ever seen…second only to the Business Pork plan in terms of the level of mental retardation needed to believe it would ever pay off. Or even happen in the first place.

Distilleries! Microbreweries! Food trucks! Maybe a hot tub time machine and blowjobs for a nickel, too! We’ll do it all!

I have taken many, many shits on this whole thing starting from the very beginning. I was never worried for a moment about being wrong about this. That’s because I’m old enough to understand that the government ultimately fucks up everything they touch [see also: Brodie estates, Hostess House, Old City Hall remodel, business pork, Azbell contract, student loans, Medicare, Medicaid, wind turbines, electric cars]

I also understood that back in 2020/2021/2022 EVERYONE was super high on the massive, ridiculous LEDC farts that were being generated by Covid stimmy money being thrown around like kid’s candy. Massive sugar rushes like that make people do stupid things and misallocate piles of money – just ask UPS about that.

Anyhoo – me being 100% correct about the City fucking up at great expense again isn’t really news. Today’s news is the Industrial Pork agreement and the major deadline that came and went. Marking another major failure for government-run “development.”

I requested information about this from the City. As usual, there was no response. So I guess we can assume the usual: the City took it in the ass, the original “agreement” was ignored, the property is NOT sold and there will be no distilleries or microbreweries.

Is that about it? I think it is.

Ilhan Omar Needs To Be Expelled From Congress and Investigated As An Undeclared Foreign Agent

Somali-born Congresswoman Ilhan Omar accidentally outed herself as an undeclared foreign agent while speaking with her co-ethnics about the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Ethiopia and Somaliland. The English translation can be watched here at the Somaliland Deputy Foreign Minister’s X account. Omar didn’t refute the translation but only its “interpretation” of her warmongering and admitting to being a foreign agent.

 

She began by questioning the ethnic Somali identity of the Somalilanders, which was a curious angle of attack for her of all folks to make given the fact that she’s built her career on condemning nationalists. By the standards of her fellow “Squad” members, she should be “canceled” for that, but ethno-bigoted double standards are par for the course when it comes to those politicians. Moving along after pointing that out, Omar then said that many Somalis want her to talk to officials about the MoU.

She specified that they want to find out what she can do to ensure that the US Government (USG) prevents the MoU from becoming a reality, to which she thundered that “My answer to Somalians was that the US Government will only do what Somalians in the US tell them to do!” That was already provocative enough since it implied that this diaspora controls the regional policy of the world’s most powerful country exactly as she hypocritically lambasted Jews for doing by clear innuendo in the past.

Omar then removed all ambiguity about her role by adding that “They will do what we want and nothing else. They must follow our orders and that is how we will safeguard the interests of Somalia…The US is a country where one of your daughters is in Congress to represent your interest. For as long as I am in the US Congress, Somalia will never be in danger, its waters will not be stolen by Ethiopia or others…Sleep in comfort knowing that I am here to protect the interests of Somalia from within the US system.”

Exactly one year ago, then-newly-hired Economic Development director Stacey Ybarra and Ryan “Gump” Ward went on the radio to blather some feel-good nonsense about the $7.3 million dollar “Business” Pork project.

For the first time in her miserable life, radio host Rhonda Witcher actually asked piercing questions and held Ward/Ybarra’s feet to the fire over what a complete joke the entire project has been for nearly TWENTY YEARS now. Here are some excerpts:

Rhonda Witcher: “Well, the can of worms you get when you come here to Lampasas is the Business Park out on 183…the City has had that a long time…put a lot of money into it…it’s been built – has anybody come yet? Are there any renters?“

Ryan Ward: “That’s a great question! I can give you an update on that! Mandy did a great job…it is about 99% complete…the legwork that Mandy had done…there are several businesses that were waiting on the City of Lampasas to complete that… so once the electric is complete, we hope to get folks, uh, moving in as soon as possible, you know, some of these businesses that are really interested in being out there”

[Great non-answer! A lot of blabbering and zero information actually given. Shockingly, Rhonda didn’t accept that bullshit word salad and pressed on]

Rhonda Witcher: “But SPECIFICALLY, are any tire-kickers, ha-ha-ha, or anyone out there looking??”

Ryan Ward: “You know, uh, that would be a good question for, uh, our manager, Finley deGraffenreid….he worked real close with Mandy…that piece of it I didn’t work on it with Mandy…the interested parties…and…a lot of those things are kinda kept, nondisclosure…until they make their mind up…but yeah, I don’t have any of that information, I wish I did, to share”

Stacey Ybarra: “I think it’s a great opportunity…at this moment in time…to be able to attract businesses, you need shovel-ready sites…you need those types of sites to be able to bring big businesses…it’s just about getting it completed and doing the legwork to bring them here, they will come…it just may take a tiny bit of time…but that’s what I’m here for….and making sure the money was worth the while. It is my number-one priority.…

Well, it has been a year for Ybarra making it her “number one priority” and cashing about $125,000 worth of paychecks and benefits from the citizens of Lampasas. Let’s see how the Business Pork looked today around noon:

I just got back from Ukraine, where I was visiting some friends.

Everything we have heard about what’s happening in Ukraine is a lie. The reality is darker, bleaker, and unequivocally hopeless.

There is no such thing as Ukraine “winning” this war. By their estimates, they have lost over one million of their sons, fathers and husbands; an entire generation is gone. 

Even in the Southwest, where the anti-Russian sentiment is long-standing, citizens are reluctant or straight-up scared to publicly criticize Zelensky; they will go to jail.

In every village and town, the streets, shops, and restaurants are mostly absent of men.

The few men who remain are terrified of leaving their homes for fear of being kidnapped into conscription. Some have resorted to begging friends to break their legs to avoid service.

Army search parties take place early in the morning, when men leave their homes to go to work. They ambush and kidnap them off the streets and within 3-4 hours they get listed in the army and taken away straight to the front lines with minimal or no training at all; it is “a death sentence.”

It’s getting worse every day. Where I was staying, a dentist had just been taken by security forces on his way to work, leaving behind two small children. Every day, 3-5 dead bodies keep arriving from the front lines. Mothers and wives fight tooth and nail with the armed forces, beg and plead not to have their men taken away. They try bribing, which sometimes works, but most of the time they are met with physical violence and death threats.

The territory celebrated as having been “won back” from Russia has been reduced to rubble and is uninhabitable. Regardless, there is no one left to live there and displaced families will likely never return.

They see the way the war has been reported, at home and abroad. It’s a “joke” and “propaganda.” They say: “Look around: is this winning?”. Worse, some have been hoaxed into believing that once Ukrainians forces are exhausted, American soldiers will come in to replace them and “win the war”. There is no ambiguity in these people.

The war was for nothing – a travesty. The outcome always was, and is, clear. The people are hopeless, utterly destroyed, and living in an unending nightmare.  They are pleading for an end, any end – most likely the same “peace” that could have been achieved two years ago. In their minds, they have already lost, for their sons, fathers and husbands are gone, and their country has been destroyed. There is no “victory” that can change that. 

Make no mistake, they are angry with Putin. But they are also angry with Zelensky and the West. They have lost everything, worst of all, hope and faith, and cannot comprehend why Zelenky wishes to continue the current trajectory, the one of human devastation.

I didn’t witness the war; but what I saw was absolutely heart-breaking. Shame on the people, regardless of their intentions, who have supported this war. And shame on the media for continuing to lie about it.
