When I was learning about communist Cuba and the Soviet Union back in grade school and high school, I wondered how in the HELL it could be that these totalitarian regimes could rely on neighbors snitching on neighbors. I mean, what kind of a PIECE OF GARBAGE would rat out their neighbors to Big Brother? It makes more sense to stick together and try and defeat the evil, right?

Now I know.

I’ve watched the likes of Julie Caine Landrum (owner of Wool & Vine) publicly rat out “mask violators”. Not only did she take $3,000 of taxpayer dollars for her tiny ‘lemonade stand’ (LEDC ‘free’money’) that was only open a few months before Wuhan Flu hit, she had the NERVE to whine publicly and rat out another restaurant in town.

“Our restaurant”….lol. Good one. You mean the lemonade stand smaller than my garage?

In my book, that makes you a giant piece of garbage. If you’re too scared to walk outside, then go ahead and stay home in your plastic bubble. Stop screwing it up for the rest of us and demanding everyone else suffer for YOUR stupidity.

Now, somebody is at it again. Wouldn’t surprise me a bit if it was still her crying and whining and snitching. From the latest City council meeting (go to the 40 minute mark). I believe it is Kathy Kuehne asking this question:

“I had some business owners ask me how we are helping enforce the governor’s orders…..because there are some businesses that are following the orders and there are some that are blatantly not…and so they were asking me to find out what the City is doing about that…IF they are doing anything.“

[“Teacher! Teacher! Look at ME! I’M following your rules and being good…but look at Timmy over there! You should maybe go look in his desk for contraband!”]

Gee…some are “blatantly not”? Says who? Some anonymous, hidden piece of shit? Why don’t you name names, Kathy? Which business owners are the nosy scumbags who like to tattle? Why is the scummy business owner making a slimy end move and going through you to ask City council? Why doesn’t the slimy scum bag business owner appear in front of City council themselves? Or call the police and go on the record? Maybe because they know, deep down, they are a tattling piece of scum?

It’s amazing how the tattletale mindset can spread like a fire. We’ve seen it before. We know where this leads. Think of Salem, Massachusetts, in 1692 but on a much larger and even more horrifying scale. Think of the Stanford Prison Experiment, and look it up if you’ve never heard of it. 

When you snitch, you become a hand of the government, and make no mistakes about it – the government has too many hands already. They’ve got one in your pocketbook and about 10 others rifling through your most private affairs. 

You need to ask them permission to fish or hunt, even on your own land. You have to get permission to get married, to build a garage on your own property, to leave the country or come back to it. 

If you want to start your own business, you’ll need to get permission from the government. And even if you get that permission, then you’ll need to get this permit and that license and keep everything up the standards set by — you guessed it — government. 

No matter who you are or what you do in this life, the government has its claws sunk deep into you and your family. 

Name an individual right, and I guarantee the government — local, state or federal — has found a way to trample all over it, and a lot of lib morons like Julie Cain Landrum and Stephanie Fitzharris thank them for it. Big Bro has a million different ways to spy on us already, they don’t need you inching back the curtain drapes and phoning in what you see happening at the house next door. 

Police Chief Bailey told City council that when they receive a complaint, they go to the location and ask them to comply – and that they have not had to cite anyone yet.

Maybe I need to make an Open Records Request to the police and ask for all complaints and calls made by mask snitches? I would think that would be recorded somewhere, right? Then EVERYBODY can know who the busybody snitch is for something as ridiculous as wearing a useless mask due to an ILLEGAL “mandate” by a Governor who has lost his mind and is drunk on power.

I can tell you this…any business that insists I wear a completely ineffective mask because of a legally questionable ‘mandate’ for a virus that has killed only a handful of citizens who were old and infirm, I’ll tell them where to stick it…and NEVER patronize that business again. EVER. Even after all of you lunatics have regained your senses and the Wuhan panic is an embarrassing memory. I will STILL not set foot in there.

We should also NEVER forget who the snitches are who tattled on their neighbors. Never.

The Same City Crying Poor and Begging For Federal Money Also Recommends $250,000 In Raises For City Employees

You gotta love government ‘logic’.

One week, Mandy Walsh (salary + benefits of over $100,000 per year) is getting City council to vote unanimously to submit an application for the LEDC stating that the City was SO ‘economically injured’ by Wuhan Flu that they need almost $1 million in free money to waste on their pet boondoggle (the ill-fated ‘business’ park).

The NEXT week, City Manager Finley deGraffenreid (salary + benefits of roughly $180,000) has the balls to stand up and tell City council he recommends they use the “budget surplus” (his exact words at the 30:25 mark) to give everyone in City government a 3% raise. Which would “be a burden to the City of about $195,000“, according to him. [*** see below***]

He also says that we need some other “market adjustments” (Finley-speak for more raises) of around $50,000 for other employees. Bringing the total to very close to a quarter of a million dollars ($245,000).

Remember – that $250,000 is forever. They don’t take it back next year. It is a brand new, forever-more burden on the taxpayers.

Here’s a thought for City council to ponder:

If the ‘business’ park project is SO awesome and SO important and will result in many new high-paying jobs and so much ‘economic development’, wouldn’t it make FAR more sense to take that $250,000 raise and instead funnel it towards your precious ‘business’ park project? In a short four years, you have your million dollars!

Why are you INSTEAD giving raises to City employees who are ALREADY well-paid? City employees who HAD ABSOLUTE and COMPLETE job security during a ‘pandemic’ that has thrown tens of millions of private sector workers onto the unemployment rolls!

Oh – and who ALSO have top-notch health care plans (those pesky benefits!) in case they DO catch the Wuhan Flu!

Wouldn’t that make a LOT more sense? Yes. Yes it would.

*** Finley has also stated in the past that benefits [retirement + health insurance + other] run roughly FORTY PERCENT of salaries. So the NEW total burden to the taxpayer just for City employee salaries and benefits would be roughly $9.443 million dollars every year

$6.5 million x 1.03 for the new 3% increase PLUS $50,000 = $6,745,000

$6,745,000 x 1.40 = $9,443,000 total salary + benefits burden for new budget

If I am very generous and assume the current number of City employees is 110, that gives us a salary + benefits burden to the taxpayer of $85,845 PER EMPLOYEE.

Yes – you are reading that correctly. Each and every City employee is costing YOU the taxpayer (on average) approximately $85,845 in salary and benefits. I’m guessing that over 90% of people in this town make far LESS than that in their private sector job.

I see that American Airlines fired 19 THOUSAND people today, a few months after their $6 billion taxpayer-funded bailout.

Did you know that CEO Doug Parker cashed in $200 million in stock-based comp over the past 7 years?

From 2014 – 2019, the same years that CEO Doug Parker pocketed $200 million in stock-based comp, American Airlines had *negative* free cash flow of $3.2 billion.

And took on an additional $14 billion in debt.

And bought back $13 billion of its stock.

And scumbag RINOs like John Cornyn are just chomping at the bit to hand out another $25 billion in tax dollars to the airlines as we speak.

No more bailouts. The airlines can EASILY issue equity and/or debt into this booming market and let STOCK HOLDERS take the risk. THAT is how capitalism is supposed to work.

Here is the problem in a nutshell: you have maybe 30% of the population (I’ll call them the Haywoods) who won’t get on a plane no matter what, because they are petrified of Wuhan Flu as well as their own shadows. You can bail out the airlines until the cows come home – those idiots won’t be flying for a LONG TIME. They are essentially gone forever, no matter WHAT you do.

You ALSO have maybe another 40% of the people (I’ll call them Lampassholes since I’m in this group) who have cut their flying down to the absolute bare minimum because we refuse to comply with their retarded mask policy. No way I will sit on a plane for 3 hours breathing into a hot, damp diaper. No way.

So, the airlines better figure out pretty damn quick who butters their bread (hint: it ain’t the Haywoods). If you insist on enforcing moronic and retarded mask rules, then don’t be surprised when your revenue drops off a cliff and you go bankrupt. Suck it – you made your bed, now lie in it.

Christ, I’m old enough to remember when airlines went bankrupt about every other month back in the 1970s and 80s. It’s not the end of the world. The planes don’t disappear. The pilots don’t forget how to fly. What happens is the morons who invested in said airline lose their shirts and the business is re-organized and run by a group of people who know what the hell they are doing.

There was none of this bailout horseshit back then. John Cornyn and Doug Parker can kiss my beanbag.

Serious Question For Mayor and City Council: How Long Are You Going To Let This Bullshit Go On?

Really. I’d love an answer. How long are we going to tally the fall of every sparrow? Another month? A year? Forever? Why not add in cancer deaths? Or pneumonia? Maybe start one for heart attacks too?

I thought 20 active cases was the magic number. We are under that. Why are we STILL yapping about mask mandates and social distancing? It’s all a joke. I expect Big City liberals to push this horseshit, but not small-town regular folks who should know better. The fact is that all the masks and social distancing in the world will not stop a force of nature like this virus. If it’s your time to get Wuhan Flu, you’re gonna get Wuhan Flu. Time to accept that:

According to the Radiogram today, during last night’s City Council meeting (which I missed due to illness but will go through soon) it was stated that:

“As far as businesses in the pandemic, owners can call the police on people who do not follow the mask mandate orders. Officers will explain the rules, and customers can either comply or risk citation.”

That’s a good one! What “mask mandate orders” are those, exactly? The ones that are supposedly in effect when we are OVER 20 active cases (which is a number Abbott pulled from his anus)? We’re currently under the magic 20 number….right? Not that it matters when we are dealing with legally questionable “mandates” and NOT an actual LAW.

Also, for the 100th time: MASKS DO NOT WORK!!! Take it from the experts linked HERE.

I got news for you: it’s highly unlikely that these “mandates” are legally enforceable. Governor Abbott is not God on the throne. Nor is he king. We have a legislature that represents WE the PEOPLE who are required to vote laws into effect – not a king who makes “mask decrees”.

If you’re going to call the cops and if the cops are silly enough to try and enforce this horse shit, I would ask right away “please show me the law I am violating. When was it passed? How does it read? How did my Representative Brad Buckley vote on this law? What about my senator? How did she vote on that law?”

It’s going to awfully hard to do that, because there ISN’T ANY LAW for this. Governor Abbott had his 31 days of emergency powers. They have come and gone a LONG time now. Either bring these “mask mandates” to a REAL VOTE by our elected officials or stfu about it already. It’s as simple as that.

Why did elected officials decree mask mandates, especially if they are questions over whether they can be enforced?

Wouldn’t a proper course of action have been to strongly recommend mask usage to the public instead of stitching together mandates that divide Texans?

“I encourage folks to wear a mask; I also encourage them to eat their vegetables,” Dallas County Commissioner J.J. Koch said when Dallas commissioners enacted Abbott’s mask mandate against Koch’s and Commissioner John Wiley Price’s objections.

“But I cannot put a guy with a gun out there to enforce either.”

Who is going to be a REAL LEADER in Lampasas government and have the balls to say “enough is enough – let’s get on with our lives. We can’t let a cold virus grind our lives and economy to a halt just because a small minority of mostly liberal morons like Bruce Haywood and Melissa Johnson are totally inept at math and statistics and thus afraid of their own shadows”.

Who? Will it be you, Misti? Mike White? How about you, Randy Clark? Do any of you have the balls to stand up and LEAD instead of buying into this faux “leadership” of reporting silly-assed numbers like the ones above every other day?

Weird, huh? The MINUTE Lampasas dips under the magic “20 active cases” number, somebody is rushing in with FREE tests…and they are the ORAL SWAB, not the painful deep nasal penetration, to make it even EASIER!

Now, every hypochondriac in the county can drive over, get their mouth swabbed, and pay nothing. Sounds awesome, right!

Wrong.

Why do this??? Some of these tests are so sensitive they can detect REMNANTS of the virus. You will “test positive” even though you no longer have it. There are also plenty of other false positives. We also don’t know if these tests will be “pooled” (look it up), which is ANOTHER way to pad the numbers.

The “advertisements” tell you NOTHING about how the tests are processed at all. So we have no way of knowing. We also know there’s no such thing as a free lunch. Whose bread is being buttered with this? Cui bono? Why roll this out NOW, instead of months ago?

Very fishy, if you ask me.

Long story short: anyone who feels fine and goes to get this test is an idiot who is screwing themselves AND the rest of us. All it takes is a few false positives and we are BACK ABOVE the ridiculously arbitrary 20 “active cases” that makes everyone go into panic mode.

All it takes is a false positive for YOU, who feels fine, and one of the Authority Figures like Dr Hay will crawl up your asshole telling you to quarantine for 14 days – even though it is entirely possible you are a false positive or even a non-infectious person who had the virus a month ago.

Please. Do NOT run out and get this test done. If enough shit heads go out and do this, the numbers jump back up and we’ll be wearing masks until the end of time. That can’t happen.

P.S. – does anyone else find it hilarious that they say “you will be screened to see if you have” – and then list a bunch of ailments that ONLY YOU can tell them about? Like a headache or nausea or fatigue? You don’t screen someone for a headache or fatigue. You ASK if those symptoms are present. Those are symptoms only YOU can feel and TELL the doctor about – who then gives you tests to hopefully find the CAUSE of these symptoms.
