Primero: it’s ALTAR of greed, not ALTER of greed. You’d think a devout fake Catholic like Clayton Tucker would know that. I saw it right away. Twelve years of Catholic school (plus an actual education) will do that to a guy. I better add that to “Clayton’s List Of Grade-School Words He Misspelled” along with “bailing” hay and putting the “breaks” on data centers. Yes, he actually wrote both of those on his own website. Multiple time!
Segundo: water is not “sacrificed” by data centers like some Aztec killing of a virgin girl. The water is used (only 0.4% of all Texas water use annually) the SAME as it would be at a golf course or any manufacturing plant (glass, steel, denim jeans) and it is returned to the hydrological cycle. Data centers pay for the water like everyone else and they use FAR less than pretty much every other industry. That is not up for debate.
Tercera: the “humans have survived centuries without data centers” is THE MOST asinine argument out there. You’ll hear it mostly from old ladies and very stupid boys like Clayton Tucker.
You know what ELSE we lived without for centuries?? Antibiotics, electricity, air conditioning, running water, the Internet, etc, etc. You TOTAL IMBECILE.
We have had hundreds and hundreds of data centers for decades. Nobody noticed or cared until about Jan 8th of 2026 when Chinese bots on Twitter started stirring up weak-minded shit heels like Clayton Tucker and an army of old ladies with nothing else to do, apparently. Yet despite having hundreds of data centers for decades, we have NOT run out of water! Amazing!
When I was born in 1970, the population of Texas was 11 million. It’s now over 33 million. Somehow those 22 million people all have access to drinking water every day when they turn on the tap. My god! It’s a miracle! How did they do it? Figure that out and you’ll have your data center answer, too.
