Local pretend rancher Clayton Tucker recently attended the National Farmers Union Convention in Oklahoma. Of course, HE thought it was called the “National Farmers Convention.” As usual, he’s the low man on the totem pole with no clue about what’s going on around him….

As one of about 500 delegates, he had SUPER DUPER important job yammering about important “farmer stuff.” Farmer stuff like democracy, social security and health care, of course!

Ah yes – nothing ensures the health of your goat herd like “democracy,” as I understand it.
Then there were all the speeches on how to grift the government and get free shit by doing fake and useless stuff to “help the climate”! Like this, taken from the convention program:

Ethanol subsidies are one of the biggest scams and boondoggles there is. But Jon Doggett and the NFU twats don’t care that they are fleecing the taxpayer while doing zero for the environment! They care about lining their own pockets with government cheese. Doggett made a very good living ($500k per year) as CEO of the corn lobbyist group – a group that did nothing for consumers but fleeced the taxpayers plenty! Sounds like Comrade Clayton’s kind of organization!
NOW we’re talking! Because Comrade Clayton has zero interest in actual RANCHING. He doesn’t want any doody on his hands or waking up before 9:30am. Fuck all that! He’s interested in “setting policy” – sitting around and telling others what to do while wearing a rancher costume. His new favorite grift is “regenerative ranching,” which as I’ve said several times before, is complete bullshit.
The Regenerative Ranching Racket

Unfortunately for the ever-ignorant Comrade Clayton, someone in his comment section ALSO knew that it was complete bullshit and challenged him. At which point Comrade Clayton admitted he couldn’t even define what it was:

Whoops! Steve Bridges slinging truth! He’s one of those guys who has actually tried this bullshit on a real farm or ranch and discovered it’s nonsense. Comrade Clayton, on the other hand, took one beginner class about it and read a pamphlet, so he’s obviously a fake expert – kind of like his fake “water researcher” and fake “energy expert” labels .
Of course, he then fails to define what the word even means:

The problem here is that Steve actually needs a process or system to work and be profitable, because he has likely worked on a REAL farm or ranch.
Comrade Clayton just wants a label he can slap on his grandpa’s place to get some government cheddar and subsidies. Anything to AVOID the kind of work that guys like Steve do.
Of course, none of this matters because Clayton was just ONE of 500 pissant NFU delegates who got up there and ranted into a microphone about their pet peeves and none of it will go anywhere. NFU just wants their dues and convention fees from suckers like Clayton Tucker so they can afford to pay the Big Man (NFU President Robert Larew) a big fat salary of about $400,000 (see Part VII) to ALSO not farm or ranch.
Want to hear Rob Larew’s qualifications, according to his LinkedIn? Here you go:
Demonstrated history of working in the farming industry to improve economic andsocial justicefor rural communities. Skilled in Government, Policy Analysis, Agriculture, Legislative Relations, Social Justice Advocacyand Public Speaking.
Also according to his LinkedIn, Larew has been in Washington D.C. as a grifter for at LEAST 32 years! If he’s a farmer then I’m a fucking Saudi prince!
BAHAHAHA! What a total grifter! I love it.
