Wichita Falls gets their water from three sources: Lake Arrowhead, Lake Kemp and Lake Kickapoo.
If you look at their CURRENT water levels, you can see (if you are smart enough to do the simple math) that they hold about 107 BILLION gallons as of today, August 26th. That works out to over ONE MILLION GALLONS per citizen of Wichita Falls.
That’s a LOT. Please stop shitting yourself over water.
Furthermore, I’m sure you dunces are completely unaware that one of your biggest employers is a company called Vitro. They employ almost 1,000 people. Vitro is a Mexican glass manufacturer. Do you know what takes a TON of water to manufacture?
That plant uses about 52 million gallons per year. Are you all out there walking around with signs yelling about THAT? Did you even have a clue that there was a plant using that much water in your city? No, you didn’t. Because you are dummies who are only lathered up by the latest shiny thing put in front of your noses and magnified in social media echo chambers.
Did you know you have ANOTHER big company in your town called Arconic? They ALSO employ over 1,000 people. Arconic manufactures precision aerospace and industrial gas turbine castings, specifically jet-engine blades and vanes at its facility in Wichita Falls
Do you know what takes a TON of water to operate? The foundry cooling and quenching process as those items are manufactured.
Guess what? There is ZERO information published on how much water Arconic “steals” from your city every year. So why don’t you run over there with your pitchforks and torches and DEMAND they be more transparent, like you do non-stop with the data centers? Why don’t you accuse them of being thieving “big wigs” out to steal everyone’s water? Why don’t you crucify THEM at a stupid town hall “debate” run by a Chinese clown in a dress?
Because you didn’t even know that company existed and used a ton of water before I told you just now. It’s also not being magnified in a social media echo chamber and passed around by dim-witted liberal housewives with nothing better to do than daydream that they are crusading against evil in a Netflix movie like Erin Brokovich or something.
Maybe take a step back and realize how retarded you all are and how little you know about how the real business world works. Then go on back to the kitchen and bake some pies for your hard-working husbands for when they get home from the Vitro and Arconic plants.
