I finally got my hands on the official “Business Park Cost Analysis” that was done by City manager Erin Corbell. It is extremely thorough and well-done. I’m surprised the LEDC didn’t hire some third-party schmuck for $30,000 to do this study. Instead, we got our City manager (who is already being paid) to do it. That is excellent value. Well done.
But wait! Perhaps it was Finley DeGraffenreid in his new position as “Project Specialist Analyst” who did all the work. After all, he was here for about 55% of the Biz pork disaster timeline. The only question is: “did the City pay Finley in this new position” because according to the newspapers, he retired about three months ago!
I would also be shocked if Finley didn’t just use many of my blog posts here to make his life easier while compiling his report – like my post about the $25,000 they paid to Angelou Economics way back in 2001. Doubtful any of these bozos would have known about that if I hadn’t dug it out of archived minutes from 24 years ago.
