The biggest panican of them all is now hyperventilating about farms being ‘pillaged.’ I’m not sure he understands what that word means. It means “to rob a place using violence, especially in wartime” which is clearly not happening at all right now.
Then again, he has an $80,000 college degree and doesn’t know how to spell “devastate” either.
If he can give me ONE example of a Texas farm being “pillaged” by anyone other than some illegal cartel Mexicans (who Comrade Clayton welcomes with open arms) then I will eat a bowl of my own shit.
It’s simply not true. But Comrade Clayton needs SOMETHING to freak out about, or he would have nothing to do with his time.
As for “rigging” prices, there is a solution for that supposed problem too: it’s called a “farmers market” and we have one right here in town. There is also a HUGE one at Lakeline Mall every Saturday, which I have attended at least 200 times.
You see, farmers and ranchers bring their products DIRECTLY to the consumer, thus avoiding any “Big Ag” bogeymen who “rig” prices and “pillage” your farm. If Clayton Tucker had actually ever GROWN a single thing or processed a single animal, he too could walk 500 feet from mom’s house and sell it at the Lampasas Farmers Market, and thus avoid all the supposed “rigging” he is subject to.
But unfortunately for Clayton Tucker, his ‘farm’ is of the fake variety in that he doesn’t grown anything and never has. He just puts on a farmer costume and a Canadian tuxedo and tells the newspaper he’s a “rancher” when he is nothing of the sort.
So I guess we should “Ask FDR”: hey dummy, why don’t you just take your ‘farm’ and ‘ranch’ products DIRECTLY to the consumer at one of the many farmers markets around here instead of whining about made-up rigging bullshit??
