Funny how often the grapevine is right about these things….
I don’t believe that “another opportunity came up” bullshit for one minute. The way the grapevine tells it, she took one look at the Business Pork project (a.k.a. Talbert’s Folly) and said “no way I can fill that piece of shit” and bolted.
But let’s say for a minute it IS true that “another opportunity came up” and she split after 30 days. I’d say the blame for that fuckup falls squarely on the shoulders of Talbert and her cronies at the LEDC. Why? Because according to Sid Ball three months ago, Talbert, Erwin and Monroe “spent five hours interviewing candidates” for the EDC position. And Poche was their final decision? A woman who had a history of quitting jobs over and over again? Something I pointed out immediately after she was hired.

Some lady who looks like she could be Monroe’s older sister, with health problems, and who has a history of quitting this same job after less than a year in TWO different cities?? Sounds like a final “fuck you” from TJ Monroe on her way out the door. Kind of like Biden torpedoing Kamala in the final days.
They must REALLY be scaping the bottom of the barrel to go with this lady. I’ll bet you $100 she doesn’t even last 18 months here.
For the record, she only lasted 8 months in Jarrell and only lasted about 10 months in Liberty Hill – she quit because of “ongoing health issues”
Funny. Talbert sneers at me as a “keyboard warrior.” But somehow, the Keyboard Warrior with ZERO EDC experience knew Poche was a shitty pick when the entire “expert” LEDC board who has been there for 13 years did NOT see it.
That’s because Talbert is trailing me by about 42 IQ points, I think.
Here we are, only THREE DAYS into a new year and President Talbert already has more egg on her face with her Business Pork debacle on the FRONT PAGE of the local newspaper.
What a total embarrassment.
I guess that $971,000 she pilfered from the City for her Business Pork Project wasn’t such a “great ROI” after all.
