Masks are NOT a social norm. They are a social derangement rooted in pseudoscience and charlatanry. They are not some tradition, they are a new and invasive thing forced upon us just in the past 12 months (and never previously). They were known not to work and the data from the past 12 months has proved it yet again.
You are not doing people a favor by catering to their baseless fears and dogmatic superstitions and the pathologies of the most fearful are NOT a sound basis to seek social norms for society as whole.
Masks were never needed and never effective. Coddling those who still crave them even when vaccinated (**cough** Kuehne **cough**) is like pretending that you hear the same voices a schizophrenic does and agreeing to act like they are real.
